This past weekend we had visitors! Rob and Angela (the "newlyweds") decided it would be a good idea to take a little road trip...to "Casa De Spencer'"! It was really, really great to see them! Although there visit was waaaaay too short, we had a great time, and undoubtedly Annika made a few new best friends!
Leaving around 4am Minnesota time on Friday morning, and only stopping for gas and a little nap, they successfully overcame two mountain ranges (Cascades and the Rockies) to get here around noon our time on Saturday. Throughly exhausted, we had a low key weekend, but it was SO nice to see them! Although Matt was in their wedding in August, I haven't seen them since last Christmas.
The weekend was way too short--when I woke up this morning at 5, they were gone! Perhaps it was just a figment of our imaginations--perhaps they weren't really ever here? Although I do have a few pics to prove it...only a few--we kept on forgetting to take some!
Regardless, it was a good time! I hope they come back to visit soon!
