Happy Father's Day! We hung out most of the day - Annika told me she wanted Daddy to have a nice, big breakfast with cupcakes. She helped me prepare the feast, but made me do most of the work!
It was a good day, though. Like I said, we hung out. Matt got into tinkering mode, hanging pictures and doing "manly" things all day. I am not complaining - our house is starting to get that "put together" feel to it. Slowly, but surely.
As I mentioned earlier, Annika (and Wee One) insisted Daddy had cupcakes for Father's Day. Needless to say, I will not ask her to help frost them again! It was a holy mess, but fun nevertheless! She doesn't get sweets often, and figured in light of the celebration of her 14th month birthday, and it being Daddy's Day, a little chocolate wouldn't hurt!
For such a great dad, Annika and I gave Matt a bench to go on our front porch! This kind of went with the theme that Matt had for Mother's Day-- something for the front of the house. Now we just need to get a hanging plant or two (how domestic!).

oh wow, she's even cuter! You guys are in serious trouble! Reagan said "baby, baby" and Piper said "she sure looks happy" after I explained she had chocolate all over her face.
I LOVE that picture! It is going to be my new desktop picture at work... now.. if only I had some new ones of Annika's cousin!!!!!!
