Happy Memorial day to all! Today was a day to do some organizing--finally! Our bedroom has been cluttered with clothes; just to have to have nowhere to put them. I finally got a place for everything, and all is better.
The excitement we had today was that Athena decided to disappear. To teach her a lesson, we put her outside for a few minutes when she is being naughty--namingly when she decides to claw at the walls or the carpet. She hates going outside, and she knows that she is being punished. She decided to explore a little this time; and went missing for a good 14 hours. All along she was just beyond our backyard, behind our privacy fence in some thick trees/bushes. Matt had to take the car to rescue her, as she was down a deep retaining wall, of which we didn't think she could make it back up. Hopefully she learned her lesson; as I am pretty sure Matt and I did! Needless to say, I am going to see about what to do about her claws....
