After seeing Santa yesterday, we made the trek to the McCanna's for a some holiday festivities! It has been a while since we had the opportunity to visit them, and Elena has gotten so big! It was really fun to get the girls together again, as now they are really starting to be aware of their surroundings. It also gave Annika a chance to be around someone her own age! They were cute together, and Annika had show off her newly acquired crawling skills! She crawled all over the place - without a doubt being a ham as usual.
Annika also got her first ever Christmas present! Her little playmate gave her some bath toys which are something she desperately needs - no more eating the washcloth! Annika also received her first set of wheels, of which she absolutely loves! She seemed to enjoy the wrapping paper, and being the destructor she is, she was definitely interested in ripping it.
Annika was pretty amazed by her little friend Elena - she had to continually grab her, which makes her look like somewhat of a bully. I am sure it will be the opposite when we are in Minnesota and her older cousins will be there to pick on her!

It's about time! Now we can join forces and send our parents on a mad craze around the house as they chase both of us on Christmas. I can't wait to see you again soon!
