I am so proud of Matt and I. We really kicked it into high gear, and we are about 95% unpacked and organized. There is still a few annoying boxes....but we will hopefully finish that soon too.
Thus, comes the time we have to start focusing on getting the baby's room ready. It is all cleared out...just needs to have baby stuff in it! I am trying to block Matt--repeatedly--from putting a computer up in there; he doesn't like to share his, evidently.
So, today, after dropping Matt's car off for an oil change--min. 2 hour wait--Matt was all mine. It actually didn't take too much convincing, but we went to Babies R Us to register. WOW....talk about overwhelming. I have never personally been in a BRU, but this one was PACKED. I am talking about TONS of people. So many pregnant women, with glassy-eyed husbands/boyfriends/etc. I think in the situation with Matt and I, I was the one with the glazed over eyes. I just didn't know where to start...the guides only point you so much. But, we figured it out; of course, with some tweaking online at home. Also, we ended up registering on target.com...I know that BRU has a larger selection, but I really liked Natalie's crib from Target, and so did Matt...hell, cousins can have matching beds, right?
After much deliberation, we also decided on ladybugs! Alright, alright, I really like the monkeys, but the few I did see were more boyish...Matt agreed. Also, we decided no pepto-bismal pink, and ladybugs is what we landed on. So cute!
Well, that is it for now....more to come soon.

Sorry it took me so long to respond; I had a plan. I enlisted Kent's help to scan a picture to attach to this comment, but alas, we could not do it (I thought you would like this Matt). SO, check your e-mails, cuz I will send it to you that way. I LOVE ladybugs. . .and it just so happens that I made Mattie a ladybug cake for his first birthday. . .=) Check it out.
