Halloween!

Halloween was a riot! Matt's boss, Kim, brought her 3 year old daughter, Ellie (1 month younger than Annika!) to go trick or treating with us! Annika dressed as a witch, but wouldn't wear her hat!

Annika and Elly were two pees in a pod---they raced from house to house to see who could hit the doorbell first. Brooke, on the other hand, took the more leisurely route, waiting for the big girls to do all the work so she could reap the benefits! Needless to say, the girls all received QUITE a bit of candy and were tuckered out afterwards.

The girls were not very cooperative with pictures, sorry!

Pumpkin patch

A month or so ago, we all went to the pumpkin patch! We had a lot of fun---we ran through cornfields, took a hayride, and climbed on hay bales! The girls got a kick out of it, and so did their parents!
Annika and I even had a potato sack race---ending up with both of us falling and laughing hysterically!

Who is the bully?

On day the two girls were just monkeying around, and I took a video. I find it entertaining! They are so funny! Not sure if it just my computer, but the sound is a little goofy...but you get the picture!

To the Cloud

Near the end of July, we all went to visit my Dad and Sandy in St. Cloud! It was a nice visit and we had a lot of fun--Grandpa Don truly loves his little granddaughters, and it was endearing to see him with them! Also, Annika and I got to take a spin on the four wheeler! It was nice to see Grandma Kirchner and Aunt Barb again too!

Fun times in the Summer

A big advantage of moving here from Washington was to actually have a summer season! I have seen more sunshine here than the 3 years of living in Washington. It was actually kind of nice to be able to feel the sun! This summer we enjoyed the splash park a few times and the kiddie pool in the backyard! Annika is a true water baby; she always has been! Brooke is usually a little more apprehensive, but it doesn't take her long to realize the joys of cool water!

Rewind in time

It goes without saying (or more nagging) that my blogging has been slacking greatly in the last several months. Being a stay at home mom, you would think time would be of abundance, but want an understatement! The girls are keeping me forever busy, with the never-ending laundry, meal times, cleaning and playing, it is hard to find time to time to document our lives. I never knew it would be so hectic! So please, don't entirely give up on me!

2 years old!!!

Our little baby is 2 years old! I can't believe my stubborn, loving, independent, cuddle mini lady is 2 years old! We love her more than the world!
For her birthday, Grandma Lee and Grandpa Kent came to visit! We had a nice weekend, and the girls surely kept us busy!
