We had a great time on Halloween! As last year, we started at the Cooley's. Annika not quite as brave as the past and despite practicing the trick-or-treating routine, she caught sight of their cat and instantly forgot her role. We practiced at home, but it didn't quite work out for her!
As always, we had a nice visit with the Cooleys. Annika ate TONS of candy while we were there, and we headed home to do a little trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. It surely didn't take Annika long to figure out what the whole routine was! She loved it! While Daddy and Brooke stayed home to hand out candy, Annika was in full force, running from house to house as fast as she could! I think perhaps it was all the candy she indulged in at the Cooley's!
After an hour and probably 30 houses later, Annika had a sugar crash. Needless to say, Mommy had to carry her home about 3 blocks, but before finishing the night, we had to go to ring one last doorbell--surely her favorite one of the night:
And....all good things must come to an end...perhaps with a tail!?
We all had a nice time, and both of the girls are surely sleeping well tonight!
