Happy Easter!

We had a fun-filled Easter weekend! Yesterday we went to our favorite park and they had an Easter Egg hunt! It was packed, despite the cool temps. Thankfully they were smart and had sections all roped off for different age groups. When the whistle blew, there were kids everywhere picking up eggs! Annika was not quite sure what to think of it, but she had fun! She managed to get a full basket and meet a little buddy that helped her in filling her basket! Brooke didn't partake in the festivities--she was content in her stroller!

Then, this morning, the Easter Bunny came and left quite a trail! Annika had fun finding eggs all over the house! Unfortunately after Mommy thought all the eggs were found, Annika managed to find a few more and had quite the chocolate mouth! Hopefully the Easter Bunny will know better next year to keep better tabs on the eggs!

The Easter bunny also left a few toys for Brooke too--her favorite was a bunny rattle--she thought it was rather tasty!
The girls enjoyed being extra spoiled too--evidently the Easter Bunny mailed some baskets to them from Minnesota also! So much stuff! Thank you!

For the afternoon, I decided to make a "traditional" Easter ham; Matt started to document it, but we forgot to take a picture of the end product! We invited Stacey and Jon over and had quite a good time! Unfortuneatly, Annika was coming down from her sugar high so she crashed out in no time, but Brooke got to hang with "auntie" Stacey! The dinner turned out okay--but the dessert was the best part! Thanks for coming, guys!
