Now that Annika has discovered how to walk, she doesn't stop! Sometimes she gets so excited that she practically runs, just to trip and fall. Her daddy and I managed to catch her a few times, but unfortunately, she biffed it pretty good today--with a big bump on the side of her head-big enough to make her mommy very worried! After a reassuring call to the doctor and notes of what to look for, Annika was unscathed, and on her feet once again. I swear, I don't understand how such a little girl could have so much energy! Then, of course, a few hours later she tripped again, and had created a matching mark on her forehead. I swear, this girl is going to make me turn gray faster than imaginable!
After observing her and doing what the doctor recommended, it seems that Annika is going to be okay. She was just as happy and jolly tonight as ever. I would take a picture of her oppsies, but I can't seem to find the camera..rather convenient, huh?
