Great-Great Aunties Delores and Neener
We made it to Minnesota! Our flight was delayed, but not due to weather. Because of the ill-equipped SeaTac airport, our deicing truck ran out of juice. So, we had to sit on the tarmac for an extra 2 hours waiting for it - ick! We finally arrived in MN around 7:30am. Annika slept pretty well on the plane, however Mommy and Daddy did not. Thankfully for us (not for her), Grandma Heaner was sick - legitimately - and did not go to work. So, she watched Annika while Mommy and Daddy got some much needed sleep.
And the cousin rivalry begins...
Then, we headed to Grandma K's house to greet all her adoring fans - there were cousins, 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins, aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, great-great aunts, great-great uncles and grandma! Whew! Annika was, as usual, a ham. Due to the screwed up schedule she had all day, it was a little overwhelming. However it didn't stop her from being smiley for awhile. And today, she told me that she had a lot of fun, and looking forward to getting her cousin Jordan back - he is bigger and therefore had to pick on her! She assured me that she will defend our family honor and beat him up tomorrow!

I know (as I was informed last night) that people check this blog often, and I will try to update it. The next few days are very exciting and action packed, so undoubtedly we will have some stories to tell! I will try to update accordingly. Also, I have created a new album: "MN Xmas 2008". Enjoy!
