Annika had quite a day today! It started at 10:30, where she had her 6 month wellness check at the doctor's. She is doing really well--you can not even tell that she was in the hospital just 2 weeks ago. She now weighs 16lbs, 11 oz and is 26.5 inches tall! A little weed! Despite getting 3 shots, she was a real trooper all day!
Right after the doctor, we headed to my work for a little trick-n-treating handing out! She was a little lethargic, but met a new fascination: a little dog. I am not sure what kind of dog my co-worker had, but Annika would not take her eyes off of it! She had a stare down with the pup, and I think she won! Here is a picture of her with Stacey at my work:
Then, we headed to Matt's work. Annika was there for awhile, so I could go vote. "Auntie" Patti, ever adoring to Annika wouldn't put her down for a long time:
Of course, Matt still had to work in the 1 1/2 hours he had Annika, so she decided to help him!
She totally took over Matt's office! Note Daddy's attire...she evidently did not like Daddy's button-up shirt and spit up all over it!
It was quite a day for a little lady bug, but we had a lot of fun. She loved all the attention, and was all smiley! Right now we are staying in, handing out candy. So far, the count is up to 20 kids--I think that we are nearing the end. It rained out all day, but cleared up in time for the kiddies. It is also about 60 degrees out--what nice weather! I don't think I can ever remember a Halloween in Minnesota as bearable. Annika is just exhausted, not unlike her mommy and daddy. We are looking forward to having a low-key weekend; as we need time to come off of the sugar rush from all the candy!
