Wanna be a big girl!

After watching her cousin's video a few times, Annika decided she wanted to try to crawl. It is pretty funny, actually, but she just can't get anywhere! I told her she has to wait until she is stronger, but she is stubborn and likes to get frustrated instead. Oh well, now that she mastered rolling over she just wants to move onto the next thing. Hopefully, potty training will be something she wants to get into soon!

Also, Annika tested her powers today. Every time we go shopping--no matter if it is the grocery store or whatever--I always give something for her to look at while she is in the cart. Usually I pick something with flashy/bright colors, and when she gets bored, I just put it back on the shelf. Well, shame on me...we were at Babies R Us! I saw this rattle toy that was shaped like a cow and mooed too. I entertained her with it for a moment, and tried to put it back, but oh NO! My little girl decided that she NEEDED to have the toy. I probably wasn't all that wise to let her play with it in the first place, but hey--it kept her entertained!

Well, needless to say, I am a parent of one happy little girl with a new cow toy.
