It seems I spoke too early yesterday. Yes, Annika is feeling better. No, she is not less cranky. And this includes her parents! Daddy still isn't feeling good, and Mommy is cranky because of the heat. It got up to 98 degrees (according to a few bank clocks). With no air conditioning in the apartment, we were not happy campers. So, we headed out for a nice air conditioned car ride. Annika usually likes car rides, but she was not having it today.Upon getting home, Mommy decided to strip her down, and cover her with lotion. She seemed to like this for about 5 minutes; otherwise there is nothing to make her comfortable. Tried bathing, to no avail.
Now it is getting a little later and the sun is going down...hopefully all her non napping today has made her tired enough to consider sleeping big chunks tonight (keep your fingers crossed)!
