All went well at the Dr.'s today. Annika is one ounce shy of her birth weight...not bad at a 11 day check up! She was very cooperative for the nurse and the doc; they just reveled on how adorable she is! I am sure they say that about all the babes; but I know it is true! She had a clean bill of health, with another appointment not for another 2 months.
Of course, with such an important appointment, she insisted on dressing up. She did look very cute in a little outfit from Grandma Ruth; I hope the little diva doesn't insist on dressing up everyday!
Grandma Ruth made it here okay...uneventful, yet full flight. And, as predicted she arrived bearing gifts to spoil the Little One. (and a few for her mommy and daddy!) Annika has been very sweet all evening; a perfect angel for her Grandma. Perhaps she was just getting sick of her mom and dad and needed a new person to be cute for, or is plotting to get some more spoilage action! Grandma also brought a gift from her great-great Aunt Neener and great-great Uncle Ronnie--she loves the ladybug toy--so cool! Also, of course as a true diva, loves the clothes! Thank you!
Alright, that is all for now...hopefully I can pry her away from Grandma and get her to bed....she is just loving her Grandma!
