As of 2pm CST today, we have become proud non-homeowners! How exciting! Annika celebrated with a big meal!
It is really bittersweet; we are a little sad. That was our first house together....who would have thought, exactly 5 years to the day after we purchased it, we sold it. I will miss the quaint little place...our marking of Minnesota residents is officially gone. Matt and I planned to go out to a nice steakhouse to celebrate the closing. I am not sure when we are going to go out, but we will. What joy--mixed with sadness. To know that Annika will have never see the house when she began as a little poppy seed is saddening. But, onward to new and exciting adventures to be had!
We have a lease on this place until January. We thought maybe next spring looking at places...but who knows where life will take us by then? It is a strange world, and new horizons are plentiful. Perhaps moving to England? Or Florida? Probably not, but Matt and I feel that there are endless possibilities, and we can-and will-take opportunities to expand ourselves.
Oh, I am getting emotional now...hormones, let me tell you! The house is gone. We are no longer MN residents...all we have ever known. We are diggin' it out here, and have proven our love and support from everyone have given us the ability to thrive just about anywhere.
As the cliche goes, the "sky is the limit"! Thank you, everyone, once again for everything...the support we have received from family and friends is phenomenal!
