Annika's First Visitors!

Alright, in all honesty, this picture was taken on Monday, while we were still in the hospital; and the pic is in the album. But, I thought I should write up on it, so you all know who these "strangers" are!

This is Pat and Shelley, some friends of ours--Pat is from MN, which is how we know him. He has lived out here for many years, after he met and married Shelley. They are great people! They are the ones who live up in Big Foot country, as Matt likes to put it. *scary* They are also expecting their own (first) Little One in June! Annika will have a playmate!

Pat and Shelley, the great and thoughtful friends they are, came bearing a wonderful lasagna dinner complete with a salad and dessert..all for us to take home with us! Needless to say, Matt and I are eating great!!

Everything else is going pretty good here. There are some difficulties with the feedings lately, as she is not doing what she is supposed to be doing...and she knows she is being wrong! She was good in the hospital, but now Annika is proving to be a little bit on the difficult side. Hopefully, we can get through it together without me getting too frustrated.

We have also come to realize that we probably did give birth to a bat...after all, she is an Ambatt, right? She is extremely nocturnal. Today, at about 3pm, it took me over an hour to wake her up for a feeding...but I bet she will be wide awake and bushy tailed at about 2am tonight...like the last 2 nights! I guess that is what we get for calling her Ambatt prenatally.

Well, off to get some sleep before our nightly wakening!
