Matt and I put together the crib today, without too much hassle. The instructions were a little confusing, but we got it together! Now, we just need to set up the room....still have to rearrange a few things. And, hopefully, we will get the crib set soon. I know, we aren't in too much of a hurry to get it together, but it is fun! The bugs on parade should be marching in on Monday or so. The crib seems so big, little Ambatt isn't going to be in it right away, but it is cool to get things together. We are on the hunt for a bassinet, but think we are going to go the pack n play route, and use the bassinet attachment for the first few months. I had a bassinet lined up through craigslist, but last minute, decided against it; someone suggested the pack n play instead. So, the search continues. Once again, I know we aren't in too much of a hurry, but time is sure flying by fast--I am already 31 weeks along! In no time, little Ambatt is going to be coming around!
I am feeling really good, but have noticed the swollen feet coming around. Fortunately, I can still fit in my shoes (sorry, Sarah---I know you weren't as lucky), but by the end of the day, my ankles are very cankley. Just another reason to have Matt rub them! He has a regime now....back rub, belly rub and foot rub! He really likes to spoil his girls! Gotta take advantage of it while I can!

Holy Crap! 31 Weeks! When you put it like that, it sounds so close! Wow. I'm excited for you guys. Hopefully the swelling stays at your ankles and doesn't creep into the rest of your body!
haha, bambam...did you forget you are a Kirchner? If Pebbles is anything like you or your brothers (well, okay...more like your brothers), she will out grow a bassinet before she's born!!!!!!:-)
The crib looks great and the bugs will finish up the room nicely. I am a little surprised you didn't go with strawberries, though!
Ack! the Kirchner curse! Hopefully I wouldn't have a 12 lb heifer that Chase was! Ouch!
Wow, sweet lookin' crib. You guys have great taste!
