The Great White Move

On February 4th, we officially moved in!

The movers unloaded while Grandma Ruth stayed in a hotel room with the kids, and I tended to the directing the movers. Thankfully, Grandma was here to help! I was a quite overwhelmed, and the thought of going back to Iraq seemed to be more appealing than putting together the house!

Grandma Ruth helped in so many ways, I could not express the gratitude. Without her, I am sure I would be hiding in a closet somewhere, unwashed with hungry cranky children! Thank you!!! And I am sure, you have learned your lesson to NEVER go furniture shopping with me again! By the way, this picture is for you, Grandma Ruth:

Also, of course a HUGE thanks to Kent and Lee--always putting yourselves out there...from meeting us at the gate at the airport to watching the girls while Mommy went out, to generally putting up with us and feeding us for 1 1/2 weeks! You are VERY appreciated!

It is great to be together as a family again!
