All weekend, it was rather gloomy--"chance of rain", but it held out for the most part. Until, of course, our block party. Not more than 10 minutes after we arrived, it started to rain. A lot. Now, being a "Northwesterner", a little rain is no big thing; people still were showing up; the grill was still being ran. After about 15 minutes of rather steady rain, one of our neighbors was nice enough to move the party indoors, not too long after it started to rain, but we were all soaked. Annika didn't seem to mind though--she found a new toy--my little motorcycle babe didn't want to give it up! But, we headed for shelter and perhaps another day she will get a chance to ride it again!
