Athena is now the proud owner of a dog bed/former baby bed. So sad! I have to admit, I teared up a little when I put it down in front of her. Of course, she was oblivous to my emotions, and is just happy that "the thing" isn't in our bedroom anymore. She has since reclaimed her position on my feet. Happy for her, but sadden that Annika isn't a part of our room anymore.

hey bambam... the new pictures are all very nice, but I am beginning to think that Annika only has one parent!!!!! where are pictures of Annika and mommy? (not that we don't mind seeing Matt!)

(Speaking as a new mom who is a whole 15 days more experienced than Annika's mom) =)
That's because we new moms are always the ones taking the pictures, trying so desperately to capture all those precious moments and hanging onto the images forever, knowing that our little ones are growing up all too quickly.
