Happy 100!

My, how things have changed since this blog was started, and here we are--posting #100! Matt originally started it upon the news of me becoming pregnant, and look where we are now! The little "poppyseed" is now a beautiful 2 month old baby girl! I can not remember life without her; she is my world!

Looking back from September, who would have thought we would have ended up in WA? Things are just crazy, and even if that was only 9 months ago, it seems like a lifetime ago. I guess this is what people call life--just go along for the ride!

I am really happy that Matt and I have made the move out here, as it was such an opportunity that we would have regretted not jumping on it. The closeness we gained as a couple has been so phenomenal. I always thought that we were close before-and we were- but being on the opposite side of the country with just knowing a few people sure makes you closer. I cherish the time we had for each other; conquering the world!
Then, Annika Joye came along! And wouldn't you know--our love just grew, and continues to grow--love for her, for each other, for life! I didn't think it was possible to love now 2 people so much! I have never been into all that "blessing/miracle" stuff, but seriously, she is truly a miracle. With everyday, my love grows with her. There isn't a night I am not sad that knowing I will go to sleep that night, the next day she will be older than the day prior. (Hence why I can't seem to take enough pictures!) These are the days that, although sometimes may be trying; I will cherish forever. Everyday she learns something new and teaches me something new!

I know the move was hard for all the Grands, other family, and friends involved, but without the support from family, what do you have then? Thank you to all for EVERYTHING you have done, and continue to do. It is because of you guys I stay pretty dedicated to this blog; we want you to be included as much as possible in your granddaughter's/niece's life!

Cheers to #100, and hopefully, many more!

Wow, what a sappy posting!

I guess I'll let it slide since you have such a cute baby and I know you love her to pieces.

Congrats on post No. 100 and the baby -- both are great accomplishments!
