Well, we made it back to Washington yesterday. Annika is/was very upset that we took her away from her Grandmas/grandpas. She has not been very happy with her mommy and daddy, and made things on the flight a little difficult; but we made it. She is just overtired now, and we are trying to work on getting her to go to sleep.
I want to thank everyone that let us crash at their places during our stay. It was most gracious, especially to all the grands. Annika loved it, and Matt and I could not be more thankful for everything. Life is going to be a lot harder, trying to go back to normal! One would have thought that we would have had more than enough time to see everyone that we wanted, but that was not the case. There just was not enough time in everyday to see everyone, and spend more time with them. Annika enjoyed meeting her cousins, although it was just too short of a time. I missed out on really seeing the girls (Melissa, Angela, Heather and Lisa); I love you guys all, and sorry we didn't get to see you guys too much (if not at all). I guess this just means you all have to come visit us!
The wedding on Saturday night was a blast...Mrs. Marxhausen and the Mr. will undoubtedly be happy forever...I can not imagine a better couple. I felt more than honored to be a part of their wedding, and Annika loved coming and seeing all her aunts and uncles!
Of course, there are plenty of pictures taken. This afternoon I will update the album...must wait for the camera to charge up!
Love you all and thanks for all the love and support...and as Matt and I always say, "our door is open--come and visit!"
