Alas, another weekend gone, another weekend of being pregnant. 37 weeks now....21 days left...not that I am counting :-P
Everything is going good here. I set out some ambitious goals, like finishing the nursery, but once again, my uncomfortable behind said otherwise. Oh well! Matt and I did go through some old paperwork and sorted through our files, and found it very interesting that EXACTLY 5 years from when he signed the purchase agreement for our house in Apple Valley, we signed one to sell it. Seriously--March 28, 2003 to purchase it, and March 28, 2008 to sell it. It was just meant to be!
On Friday, we went to see the movie "Stop Loss". Although the reviews and the trailers don't look all that good, I felt compelled-even obligated-to see it. As I thought, the movie wasn't all that good, but hit close to home. Although there was a lot of inaccuracies in the film, a lot of the emotions and thoughts were there. But that is it; I am not going to talk politics. (Damn Bush and his "non-existent" war).
On Saturday, we ventured to Pat and Shelley's in Sasquatch country again. Had a very nice time! We met her sister, brother-in-law, niece and some friends of theirs. Always an interesting time when we go there--they are a lot of fun, and we really enjoy the Wii shenanigans. Shelley, who is 30 weeks pregnant, is so cute! Ah, I remember the days when I was more energy filled and less pregnant! No big foot sightings, but that didn't prevent Matt from continually tormenting me by looking for them.
Today, we have just been laying low...I am not sure if Matt is in his "nesting" mode or not, but he made breakfast AGAIN! I can really get used to this; I am hoping he is going to make it a weekly event!
Well, this is all for now. I know, I know....we need some pics on here...but I thought I would post a pic of that lovable 'lil Athena, just lazing around, missing her Grandma L. Perhaps this is a Caturday usable pic in the future?!
