Christmas!

As always, Santa out done him/herself this year. Matt and I had the opportunity to spend a week with family and great fun was had! The girls got to spend some quality time with their cousins and Mommy and Daddy got to relax! As a special sruprise, Uncle Tanner made it in from Ohio--the first time in probably over 10 years all the Kirchner kids were in the same room together! Special thanks to Uncle Shayne for that treat!

There are TONS of photos for Christmas--a whole album is in the library! Thank you everyone for ALL the great memories!

Disney live!

In mid-November, Matt and I had the opportunity to take the girls to Disney live! It was a pretty good show--perhaps a little long, but the girls seemed to have a good time--until Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) came out---not a fan!

Christmas cookie baking!

Annika and Brooke have made quite a friend in Ellie! And mommy has become friend's with Ellie's mommy too--this is quite handy as she is Matt's boss! In early December we had them over to make more Christmas cookies! It was a blast, and of course we had to get the girls to show off their outfits!

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Matt had to work, so we stuck around Grand Forks. We had a great time as Grandma Ruth and Uncle Chase came to visit! There was much debauchery, little sleep and a lot of fun to be had! Grandma came with a present for the ladies of the house: matching hats and aprons! We made some Christmas cookies! Mom and I also introduced Chase to a little Black Friday shopping, which was a frustrating blast, but all good in the end!

Fast forward: NOW

Grumble, grumble. As you all know, I am a slacker. I can't help it! Life has been too hectic to keep up with this blog. I try, but I failed. Oh well, love us anyway!

I will attempt to upload some more pics and try to recap the last....err...6 months?

Halloween!

Halloween was a riot! Matt's boss, Kim, brought her 3 year old daughter, Ellie (1 month younger than Annika!) to go trick or treating with us! Annika dressed as a witch, but wouldn't wear her hat!

Annika and Elly were two pees in a pod---they raced from house to house to see who could hit the doorbell first. Brooke, on the other hand, took the more leisurely route, waiting for the big girls to do all the work so she could reap the benefits! Needless to say, the girls all received QUITE a bit of candy and were tuckered out afterwards.

The girls were not very cooperative with pictures, sorry!

Pumpkin patch

A month or so ago, we all went to the pumpkin patch! We had a lot of fun---we ran through cornfields, took a hayride, and climbed on hay bales! The girls got a kick out of it, and so did their parents!

Annika and I even had a potato sack race---ending up with both of us falling and laughing hysterically!
